Well, there is so much to announce but we haven’t caught our breath yet as we are getting ready for the San Francisco Health2.0 conference and the past several week’s multiple endeavors… of which one thing that i can mention briefly is that we finalized and have found a tremendous partner, Solidus Company here in Nashville, who has made a $1 million dollar series A round of financing for change:healthcare. As part of that investment, we’ve now changed from an LLC to an Inc.
There is so much more to talk about, but time is so limited… we’ll post some more later but first i wanted to say thank you to the team (Robert, Katrina, MattM, MattB, and Jakob) who help make change:healthcare a reality, thank you to our Users who send us emails, praise us, yell at us, and expect a lot of us which in turn help our team understand where we need to improve and expand (without our Users – we are NOTHING) and to Townes and Will who believe in our vision and ability to execute on our plans.
More importantly, thank you to my wife and 2 boys – who without them… I would be lost.
We have a long way to go and much to do, but from the bottom of my heart — thank you to each of you that has supported, criticized, or given us the presence of mind to finally help the average person who is frustrated or overwhelmed every time they open their mailbox or who sorts through the piles of paper on their kitchen table and wonders “How am i gonna deal with this?”.
Healthcare cost transparency is coming, and we will make it easily available and understandable for all Consumers. We will make a difference, not by our words or PR or other temporary mumbo-jumbo but rather by our actions – that, i can guarentee.
