I’m not gonna say much in way of a narrative to the following patient’s comments, except that this one patient added two comments [one negative and one positive] and more importantly to point out the general theme of:
Neither comment indicates clinical efficacy, outcomes results, cost, nor other “evidence-based” metrics. Yet for this patient (and many others like this person)… well, read below and come to your own conclusions if these “patient perceptions” are the growing impetus behind patient experience innovations like Hello Health & other patient-centric practices that are springing up:

I have been with this doctor for over 17-years and have finally decided to move on. Over the past several years this doctor’s office has gone downhill. They make-up their hours day-by-day, just closing the office whenever they feel like it, so it is impossible to know when to call to talk to someone in the office. And forget it if you have a question as NO ONE will speak to you over the phone. They insist you schedule an appointment, like you don’t have a job or life and can drop everything to come to the office to ask a question.

I see Dr. D’s partner, Dr. JB and She is wonderful. My OBGYN recommended her and I could not have asked for a better doctor. She takes the time to explain everything to you and answer any of your questions. She contacted me directly after my surgery to see how I was doing and remind me of the next steps (as I was out of it after surgery:)). If I call the office with any questions or concerns, Dr. B calls me back herself. She will evaluate the situation to determine if it is necessary for me to come into the office. She is very considerate that I work fulltime and have small kids so I am not wasting time going to the office if it is not necessary. I LOVE DR. B!!!
