Job Title: Data Guru
Reports to: CTO
FMLA Status: Exempt
General Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the successful acquisition and transformation of customer-deliverable data including healthcare claims and associated data.
Major Responsibilities
- ETL programming with a heavy emphasis on transforming data
- Directing the client data acquisition processes
- DBA support
- Detailed documentation of ongoing client processes
- Detailed documentation of company standard data processes
- Communicating client needs and requests back to product development
- Other duties as required
Required Experience
- 5+ years experience in ETL programming
- 3+ SQL experience necessary
- 3+ Experience with at least one other data manipulation and/or ETL tool
- 3+ DBA experience
- Experience with healthcare claims data.
- Experience interacting with clients and third parties
- Specific experience with healthcare claims reimbursement a plus.
- Experience in managing the process of data acquisition and assessment.
- Experience supporting large organizations as customers
- Demonstrated ability to work in a small team environment

- Experience with CRM tools. Experience with HighRise and/or SalesForce a plus.
- Ability to learn new software quickly and grasp web application and platform concepts
Job Description
The Data Analyst reports to the CTO. The Data Analyst is tasked with establishing ongoing data acquisition and submission processes with contracted clients and managing the internal process(es) that guarantee successful transformation of the data for implementation of the client contracted services.
The Data Analyst is responsible for picking up at the close of sale, and working with Implementation Specialists and Account Managers to fulfill the negotiated contract for implementing the change:healthcare platform for customers. This includes the procurement of client data, integration of the client data and coordination/automation of ongoing data updates. This position may also serve as a conduit for feedback for the refinement of future product functions and capabilities.
While Data Analyst is not directly client facing, developing and managing relationships with data providers (carriers, third party administrators, pbms) is a critical part of success in this position.
