Now for something different and inspiring
I just saw the Paul Potts’ story that has flown across YouTube. As we all struggle with our daily challenges, including healthcare concerns either as Caregivers, Providers, Employers, or even Insurers… it is important to embrace those glimmering moments that impress upon us that even against all odds that that which we never thought could or would happen CAN happen.
Just as a British cellphone salesman can sing opera and win a million dollar recording contract (yes, opera. He went to choir in school to avoid school bullies) — even something as staid, inflexible, and unchangeable as the U.S. healthcare system can be improved by its ultimate consumers… people like you and me.
Here’s to changing healthcare.

Christopher,
Thank you so much for putting this video of Paul Potts up. He absolutely does have an inspiring story and is a wonderful person, as well as a great tenor.
He’s come a long way since this video. He’s been on Oprah and Ellen and he will be singing at the Royal Variety Performance in England in December this year, with Her Majesty the Queen will in attendance. How’s that for an inspiring story?
His album, “One Chance”, is simply wonderful! It would be very nice of you to give it a plug here. It’s sold over 1.3 million and going strong. To date his album has gone to #1 in 12 countries and is #1 right now across the board on Amazon.com.
YouTube has many videos of Paul showing just how far he’s come since this video was made in June this year. There are videos of the songs from his album “One Chance” as well as some of his TV interviews, shows and personal appearances around the world. YouTube.com is a good place for people to start and search for “Paul Potts” in the video category.
